The Sun Has Not Yet Risen
...but here I am getting ready for work...
Naomi is sketching a picture for me and I cannot wait to see the final result. I told Jason months ago that I had an idea for a piece of artwork that I wanted to pay an artist to paint for us. Well, Naomi has stepped up and she is going to sketch it for me. It was supposed to be a surprise for my love, but he figured it out. Okay, so what's she drawing? The fountains downtown across the street from the Hyatt. A little more than six years ago, my love took me to the Eagle's Nest for a wonderful dinner followed by a walk across the road to the fountains. We sat on a bench under the pergola and looked out at the beautiful fountain and gardens. I don't remember what Jason said, but he slid down on one knee and asked me if I would become his wife. And as they say in the movies, the rest is history.
I am so excited that Naomi is drawing this for me. I will put it in a place where I can see the magical fountains every day and be reminded of the beauty of the night when my husband proposed to me.

Whoa. That's a lot of pressure, hehe. :)
you can do it :)
That is such a sweet gift! Even if JD isn't surprised, I'm sure he is flattered. By the way, interesting post on post-modernism. I like your thoughts on converting athiest to agnostics, and then taking it from there. I've been working on that for a long time now. So far I have convinced a few athiests that they're pretty closed minded to think that the possibility of a higher being doesn't exist. At least they can now say that they're agnostic! Now, where do we go from there? Can we hook them with the "better safe than sorry" slogan? haha
By the way, I can't remember where it is, so I'll have to get back to you on this, but there is a blog that is specifically a place for athiests and agnostics to post their thoughts. It's mostly slandering Christians and such, and it's practically pointless to argue with them on that website, but it's interesting to read their comments. I've only visited it twice, and don't intend to revisit much because it's unhealthy to my spirit, but it's almost like BAIT. They willingly go to this sight, just to discuss these things among themselves.
